For the sponge cake: In a bowl, beat butter with sugar. Add eggs one by one, milk, vanilla essence, sifted dry ingredients, and melted chocolate. Mix until a batter is obtained. Pour cake batter into 3 7.8-inch round cake pans. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool and unmold. For the ganache: In a bowl, combine melted chocolate and whipping cream. Set aside. For the cream cheese frosting: Mix cream cheese, icing sugar, and vanilla essence. Mix until a thick frosting is obtained. For assembling the chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting: Place a sponge cake on a cake stand and spread cream cheese frosting on top. Place the second sponge cake on top. Repeat until a 3-layer cake is formed. Cover cake with remaining frosting and smooth it out with a spatula. Pipe a rosette border on top of the chocolate cake. Pour ganache inside the rosette border. Garnish with chocolate-covered strawberries. Let cool and cut chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting into slices.
