Cantaritos, whose name roughly translates to “small clay mug”, is a Mexican drink made with drool-worthy Tequila. Make these cantaritos locos happen by combining Tequila blanco, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and grapefruit soda. This super tasty mix-up is a must-try beverage if you are a Tequila lover!

Pour tamarind pulp into a plate and wet the rim of each cantarito completely. Place chile powder on a plate. Dip each cantarito in chile powder to create an even rim. Set aside.
Cut off the top and bottom of the orange, then cut down the sides. Using a knife, gently cut orange wedges out. Repeat with grapefruit. Set aside.
Fill each cantarito with ice cubes. Add lime juice, salt, orange juice, Tequila blanco, orange wedges, and grapefruit wedges. Fill each cantarito with grapefruit soda. Using a spoon or a bar spoon mix thoroughly.
Garnish authentic cantaritos locos with grapefruit triangles and chile-coated orange triangles.
Presentation
Serve authentic cantaritos locos in a chile powder-rimmed clay mug garnished with orange, lime, and grapefruit wheels.
Tips
