Place chicken broth, Poblano chiles, tomatillos, garlic, onions, and cilantro in a blender and blend until smooth.
In a skillet, pour oil, add rice, and fry until golden brown.
Add the Poblano sauce and bring to a boil. Lower heat and add yellow corn kernels and Poblano chile strips. Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes or until there is no liquid left.
Garnish with cilantro and serve.
